I am Kirk Jones. After serving as a local church pastor for 20 years, I now teach at Andover Newton Theological School, speak at churches, schools, and conferences around the country, and, you guessed it, write spiritual books.

Though I have written throughout my ministerial and teaching careers, the past seven years I have, as a friend put it recently, "hit my writing stride." I have never felt more free, creative, and playful about my writing. Through this creative energy,
I have published seven books in seven years with some of the leading religious publishers in the world, including:
Rest in the Storm: Self-Care Strategies for Clergy and Other Caregivers
(Judson Press, 2001)

Addicted to Hurry: Spiritual Strategies for Slowing Down
(Judson Press, 2003)

The Jazz of Preaching: How to Preach With Great Freedom and Joy
(Abingdon Press, 2004)

Morning B.R.E.W.: A Divine Power Drink For Your Soul
and
The Morning B.R.E.W. Journal
(Augsburg Books, 2005)

The African American Preaching Library
(Abingdon Press, 2006)

Holy Play: The Joyful Adventure of Unleashing Your Divine Purpose
(Jossey-Bass, 2007)
Throughout my writing journey, I have enjoyed learning and continuing to learn how to maximize my skills as a writer, publisher, and promoter of spiritual books.  Now, I want to share what I've learned with you through TWO OFFERS:
